Rental Lead inspections

We provide rental lead inspections as per New Jersey law PL2021, c.182 requiring, as applicable, rental lead inspections for rental homes or apartments prior to the issuance of an occupancy permit.

Abatement Final Clearances

All properties undergoing a lead abatement process, must be cleared by an independent Lead Inspector as per NJAC 5:17. We are certified under NJDCA and Licensed by the NJ Department of Health to provide that service.

Soil testing

Lead naturally occurs in soil, but at high levels presents a danger when inhaled as dust or ingested.

water testing

Lead can enter a building's water through supply lines, soldered joints, and plumbing equipment, particularly in properties with aging water lines.

In most cases we can price match verifiable quotes. Remember, to ask about turnaround times and how soon can the inspection take place. Those two questions are paramount in price matching.

Same Day Issuance of Certificate

In municipalities requiring visuals only, we can issue the Rental lead Safe Certificate on the same Day, provided all painted areas are intact and windowsills and window wells/troughs are clean. Old wooden windows with old cracking and peeling paint many times do not pass. Call for more information.

Next Day Results

For landlords who need the speediest return. Usually these landlords are paying for hotel room stays for their tenants while undergoing an abatement. At the end of the abatement, a project clearance is required. Those landlords want the results ASAP. In many cases, we can have the results the very next day. Special conditions apply. Call for more information.

Two Working Days Results

Most landlords prefer this service since it saves time while waiting for a NJ Rental Lead Safe Certificate. This time frame allows the landlord to save money on the cost and start collecting rent. Sometimes dust wipe samples fail and we must resubmit failed samples. We want to resubmit ASAP so landlords can collect rent ASAP. Call for more information.

Five - Seven Working Days Results

This service is best utilized when landlords or owners are not pressed for time. Call for more information. **Least expensive.

We are certified to provide Lead Safe Certificates

We also assess lead-based paint hazards and recommend interim controls and/or abatement plans. This entails visual inspections, collecting paint and dust samples, conducting tests, and analyzing the results. This enables us to provide reports suggesting lead remediation solutions when it is discovered. By locating and addressing any lead related hazards on a property, we play a critical role in increasing the safety of residents. We offer a premium service and a fast turn around at an affordable price.

This is who we protect
